How Flirtique complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
Overview
Flirtique Pty Ltd is an Australian company and is bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the 13 Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This page summarises our compliance with those principles. Our full Privacy Policy contains the detailed information required under the APPs.
The Australian Privacy Principles
Open and transparent management
We maintain a clear, publicly available Privacy Policy that explains how we manage personal information.
Anonymity and pseudonymity
Where practicable, users may interact with us without identifying themselves (e.g. visiting our website).
Collection of solicited personal information
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions. We collect information directly from you when you create an account or contact us.
Dealing with unsolicited personal information
If we receive personal information we did not solicit, we destroy or de-identify it as soon as practicable.

We use your information for the purpose it was collected. We do not sell personal data to third parties.

We only send marketing communications with your consent. You can opt out at any time.

Some of our service providers are located overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure they protect your data.
Adoption, use or disclosure of government identifiers
We do not adopt government identifiers (e.g. Tax File Numbers) as our own.

We take reasonable steps to ensure personal information we hold is accurate, up-to-date, and complete.

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access.
Access to personal information
You have the right to access your personal information. Use Account Settings → Download My Data in the app for an instant export, or contact privacy@flirtique.app.
Correction of personal information
You can correct your personal information in the app at any time, or contact us to request a correction.
Complaints
If you believe we have breached the APPs, you can make a complaint by emailing privacy@flirtique.app. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
